Yes. Every book of the Bible here comes as two downloads: one in Hindi script (हिंदी, Devanagari) and one in Hinglish. The Hindi edition carries its font inside the file, so the verses render correctly, conjuncts and matras included, even on a computer or phone with no Hindi font installed.
What is a Hinglish Bible PDF?
It is the Hindi Bible written with English (Latin) letters instead of Devanagari, in a PDF you can download and keep. "यहोवा मेरा चरवाहा है, मुझे कुछ घटी न होगी" becomes "Yahowa mera charvaha hai, mujhe kuchh ghati na hogi". If you speak Hindi but find Devanagari slow to read, you can still read scripture in your own language.
Is it free?
Yes. Every PDF here is free, with no sign-up, no email and no ads. The website Bible is free too, and so will be the Yeshu Vachan app, which is coming soon.
Is there a PDF of the whole Bible in Hindi?
Not as one file. All 66 books together come to about 2,500 pages in Hindi and about 2,600 in Hinglish, which is slow to download and awkward to read on a phone. The books are offered separately so each one stays small: the largest, Psalms, is 197 pages, and most are far shorter. To read straight through, every chapter is also online at yeshuvachan.com/bible/.
Which Hindi translation is this?
The Hindi O.V. (Hindi Holy Bible, 1911), the long-standing Hindi translation, which is in the public domain. The text has been proofread, with about 900 typing errors fixed. The Hinglish is generated from that text by the same transliterator the app uses.
